Terms of use

Last updated: 3 September 2026

Using this site or buying the Compliance Guide means you accept these terms. They are short on purpose — read them.

What Saber Desk is — and is not

Saber Desk is an independent reference publisher. We are not a certification body, we are not affiliated with SASO, CST, ZATCA or any regulator, and we do not issue PCoCs, SCoCs or any certificate or approval. Certificates come only from SASO-approved Certification Bodies through the SABER platform.

Reference, not advice

Everything on this site and in the guide is general reference information, not legal, customs or professional advice for a specific shipment. Regulations, fees, standards and HS codes change; the guide is edition-stamped and flags the areas that move, and you must confirm the current requirements for a specific product and shipment with your Certification Body and the official sources before acting. You remain responsible for your own compliance decisions and their outcomes — we do not guarantee any regulatory or commercial outcome.

Purchases

Checkout is operated by a Merchant of Record — the provider named on the checkout page and your receipt (currently Lemon Squeezy, LLC) — which acts as the seller of record for the transaction and handles payment, applicable taxes, receipts and refund processing under its own terms, alongside ours. Our refund promise is in the refund policy: 7 days, no questions asked.

Your license to the guide

Buying the guide gives you a license to use it, not ownership of its content. You may: use both language editions yourself; share them within your own company's team; and pass relevant parts to your own supplier, manufacturer or freight forwarder for the purpose of your own shipments — that use is why the guide is bilingual. You may not: resell, redistribute or publicly post the guide or substantial parts of it; offer it (or a derivative of it) as part of a paid product or service to third parties; or remove the edition and attribution markings. If you bought one license and a colleague at another company wants the guide, send them to this site.

Content ownership

The site content and the guide — text, structure, checklists and worksheets — belong to Saber Desk. Short quotations with attribution and a link are welcome; wholesale reproduction is not.

Limits of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Saber Desk's total liability arising from the site or the guide is limited to the amount you paid for the guide, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses — including stalled shipments, storage or demurrage costs, re-export, or lost profits. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, and nothing reduces your statutory rights as a consumer.

The practical rest

We may update these terms; the date at the top is authoritative and continued use after a change means acceptance. If one clause is found unenforceable, the rest stand. Questions about these terms: hello@saberdesk.com.
